Saving Progress using Interest Profiler

MilGears does not store your answers to the Interest Profiler Survey. However, you can save a session file for future MilGears sessions. Follow these steps to save your progress and create a session file:

1. Select the green Save Progress button on any screen.
   • The Save Progress button is located between the Next and Back buttons on each Interest Profiler Survey question screens.
   • Once you complete the Interest Profiler Survey, the Save Progress button is at the top right of the page.
2. When you select Save Progress the first time, you will be prompted to create a password. Don't lose your password! The session file can only be uploaded by entering your unique password.
   • Enter then confirm your password, which will be used when the session file is uploaded into MilGears for future use.
   • Click the Save button to save information you have entered to the session file.
3. Download the session file using the "Download and Return" button to save the session file to your device.
4. Session files are encrypted and password protected. Each time you save your progress, a new session file is created and sent to your default Download folder on your device.
5. Remember to keep your latest session file somewhere easily accessible, so you can use it later.

Note: If you aren’t able to locate the session file, you can search for the session file on your device using the file type “.mgsession”.
