How are my Personnel Qualification Standards (PQS) or qualifications considered?
If you upload your Electronic Training Jacket (ETJ) or Joint Service Transcript (JST), the PQS and qualifications sections will auto-populate.
In the Mil-2-Mariner (M2M) tool, your PQS data is used to determine equivalence days for mariner licenses.
It is also used in the Cyber IT/CSWF tool to determine how you compare against the requirements for a work role.
PQS are not currently used to determine your results in Engage My Career (EMC) but are included in the output for your records. If you are entering your information by hand in EMC, you can skip entering qualifications without impacting your results.
