What is an apprenticeship?
A registered apprenticeship is a formal, structured training program that provides a combination of paid on-the-job training (OJT) and related technical instruction in a field of interest. This type of program allows you to get valuable work experience and recognized industry credentials to advance your career.
As a Servicemember, you can earn an apprenticeship with the OJT and military training you already get while serving— you simply need to enroll and record your work hours.
Why not get a valuable nationally recognized apprenticeship with the training you already have, doing the work you're already doing? To learn more about earning an apprenticeship while serving, visit the United Services Military Apprenticeship Program (USMAP) website.
